Caietul cu traduceri (CCX) – William Shakespeare

Încă o traducere de care sunt mândru, aşezată la loc de frunte în dicţionarul de traduceri personale, publicată recent şi în Enciclopedia online de citate. Merită un vot: AICI.

Nu ştiu dacă Shakespeare a scris capodoperele shakespeariene, nici nu vom şti vreodată cu certitudine, dar nu obosesc să vă reamintesc că sunt fascinat de bardul de la Stratford-upon-Avon, de tragedia “Hamlet” şi de replicile protagonistului (Actul II, Scena 2):

Hamlet: Din câte am auzit, câţiva făptaşi, aflaţi la teatru-n staluri, au fost atât de răvăşiţi de jocul de pe scenă, încât fără zăbavă şi-au mărturisit fărădelegile comise.

Originalul (ENG):
Hamlet: I have heard that guilty creatures sitting at a play have, by the very cunning of the scene, been struck so to the soul that presently they have proclaimed their malefactions.
